Compete did a survey regarding the impact of Pinterest and found that more males have made purchases based on things seen on Pinterest than females. It was reported that 25% of Pinterest users have made a purchase based on something they saw on Pinterest. These purchases range from something to do with food items, to style/fashion, to vacation, to humor, etc.
This may be something businesses should consider – even though men don’t have a huge presence on Pinterest, those that are there may be likely to make a purchase.
